Ashley Musgrave

UK Managing Director

With over 20 years experience in the animal health sector, I joined Heiniger in 2023 to take up the Managing Director role and work with Daniel Heiniger to promote the benefits of the brand’s products here in the UK.

I admire the Heiniger brand and all the family has done to build a range of world leading products. The Swiss commitment to quality is one that I and the UK team passionately support.

As an animal health business manager in the past, I have always looked to support partners and customers with technology and engineering that improve their work.

I am proud to lead such a knowledgeable and dedicated team in the UK and to work with so many talented ambassadors who demonstrate how valuable Heiniger products are to animal health and wellbeing.

Hefin Rowlands

National Sales Manager

I started my career as a sheep shearer in 2009. Since then, I have shorn all over the world, from my home in Wales to New Zealand and many countries in between.

I had my own contract shearing business in Wales and have competed in many competitions on the international circuit over the years.

I worked as an animal health specialist in the Mid-Wales area for five years and have a passion for promoting best practice in animal husbandry.

I joined Heiniger in 2023 to be responsible for the sheep shearing side of the business. Today, as National Sales Manager, I also support our dog grooming and vet wholesale clients whilst helping our Swiss colleagues to manage our business in Ireland.

Pete Hansford

National Trade Manager

I have been involved in agriculture for over 30 years. As an international trader I oversaw the sale and distribution of meat worldwide. I later worked for one of the world’s largest poultry producers and co-owned one of the oldest sausage companies in the UK.

My agricultural supply chain experience saw me join Heiniger in 2024 to become the National Trade Manager. My focus is the equestrian division of Heiniger, and I work closely with our specialist equine stores, independent retailers and e-commerce platforms.

The Heiniger brand has always stood out for quality manufacturing, and I am dedicated to helping and supporting this reputation in the UK with all of our partners and customers.
